I am a big fan of American muscle cars, especially Dodge. (Check out my cars page.) I came across information and spy pics of the 2006 Dodge Challenger concept that Dodge will be showing in Detroit during January. It is built with the retro look of the 1970 Challenger. It has the distinctive Challenger look, but it looks modern at the same time. Apparently it is built on a shortened Chrysler 300/Dodge Charger chassis. It also has a 6.1 litre Hemi with a 6 speed manual transmission. Dodge says that they have no plans to produce it. I predict that they will produce it, and it will be a huge success. I will definitly buy one when they start producing them (if I am out of school, and have money, of course). I am hoping that it will be at the Philadelphia International Auto show in February, which I am going to try to go to. Here are all the pictures that I have found of the Challenger Concept.

This is the official concept drawing that Dodge has released. Click below for more pictures.

I have also read that Chevy will be showing a 2006 Retro Camaro concept. If I find pictures I will post them.
