We ended up going with Panda AV. Its really easy to deploy and so far so good! We also moved our anti spam to Messagelabs, but not all that impressed considering the money involved!

I too use Symantec AV 10 running on a SBS 2003 machine and in total it uses up around 600MB of memory when you take the anti spam and the AV solution as a whole. I am now looking at software from other providers for the desktops and possibly message labs for the internet filtering and anti spam

Well we have had a license for Symantec Av for a while. So its already paid for, and it would be hard to justifiy buying something else. But I am starting to investigate possible alternative solutions for the future.
